Tina Dolen, Executive Director
|
Tina Dolen has twenty-five years of experience managing government agencies and charitable institutions. The primary focus throughout her career has been creating positive social and political change through creative broad-based partnerships.
Prior to joining the Aquidneck Island Planning Commission in 2004, Dolen served as Senior Community Involvement Manager for the Massachusetts Military Installation Groundwater Study Program.
Dolen held elected office as a Barnstable County Commissioner from 1996 to 2000, representing all fifteen Cape Cod municipalities.
She also worked as Executive Director of the Conservation Land Trust in Falmouth, Mass., where she implemented an aggressive habitat protection and land acquisition program.
In 2009 Dolen was named a Fellow by the Rhode Island Foundation, and previously was awarded a Hassenfeld Family Foundation Rhode Island Public Service Fellowship to Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government.

Chris is a recent graduate of the Masters in City and Regional Planning program at the University of Pennsylvania and holds a B.A. in History from American University in Washington, DC. Before returning to graduate school, Chris worked as a grant-writer and fundraiser for social service and education organizations in Washington, DC and New York City. The Planning and Communications Director is funded through the generosity of the Rhode Island Foundation and Newport County Fund.

Sarah received her B.S. in Marine Biology from the College of Charleston. She was recently the first graduate of the University of Rhode Island's Blue MBA program, a Masters of Business Administration and a Masters of Oceanography dual degree.
While at URI, she was an Energy Fellow and worked on many projects for URI and the Naval War College.
Before joining AIPC, Sarah worked as a Habitat Research Assistant for Save the Bay for many years.
Her position is funded through the generous contributions of AIPC's charitable donors.
